In less than 24 hours of posting Bentlie, I had a call from a rescue organization. She will be trained to track scent. Her new owner is so excited to get her, and we've also made new friends. We will be delivering her to her new home and staying for the weekend to go hunting with them!

I am very happy to say Bonnie has been adopted by a great couple in Washington State. I am surprised that someone would come that far to get a dog, I live in central CA. I know that she will have a very good home, after meeting these people. For everyone that responded, thank you. I tried to get back to everyone in a timely manor. Thanks Rescue Me!

I posted my dogs' photo and got a response the very next day. I contacted the individual to explain what was happening that was making me have to give up my dogs, and he told me what he was looking for. We have been trading e-mails and they are driving over 600 miles to pick up 'the boys' this coming weekend. Thank you so much for having the wonderful Rescue Me! site. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them as I was running out of options and time.

Dear Jeff, Thank you for your follow-up email. 'Rescue Me' turned out to be just that. I was very fortunate to find an ideal situation. I was ready to adopt Oakley to a family in Maryland, which would have entailed a long drive and never seeing her again. At the 11th hour, I was contacted by a family 30 minutes from my home that turned out to be the ideal adoptive home. Not only had they owned GWP's before, but our adoption arrangement allowed me to continue to train and hunt with her. It was a really good outcome to a difficult situation. It would never have happened without the reach of your site. I will gladly support your efforts both financially and by letting others know that this service is out there. Once again, thanks for your terrific service. Stahl| Cowen
